Adjust your reading experience. Preferences stay in this browser.
Press Tab and Shift + Tab to move between controls, then Enter or Space to activate buttons. Use the arrow keys to switch between tabs and adjust sliders. Press Escape to close Help first, or to close the widget.
Select the feature on Display & Reading. Choose a sentence, voice, and volume. Use the playback controls to read, pause, stop, or move between sentences. The Close button dismisses the window. Word highlighting requires a speech voice that reports word boundaries.
On Speech & Navigation, select Voice Navigation and grant microphone permission. Say content, navigation, footer, read page, stop reading, or stop listening. A microphone indicator shows when recognition is starting, listening, or reconnecting.
Speech recognition is not available in every browser. Some browsers send speech to an external recognition service and require an internet connection. If it stops, the notification should explain whether microphone permission, a device error, or the service was responsible. The keyboard Skip controls remain available.
Settings are saved in this browser. Select Reset all settings to restore the defaults. This does not change browser or operating-system accessibility settings.
